Nutrition Summit 2025
Message from Chief Advisor
Food and Nutrition are integral part of human life. Instead of differentiating food which provides energy to the body from nutrition, nowadays we club them together as nutritious food. Since the present-day the triple burden of malnutrition which includes undernutrition, overweight and obesity, and micronutrient deficienciesâaffects people all over the world, regardless of whether they reside in high, upper, lower middle, or low-income countries. Â Due to lack of awareness about healthy diets, proper calorie measurement, the impact of junk food, and the complex relationship between diet and diseases we are facing these types of burden. Moreover, intake of only calorie rich food is insufficient to keep someone healthy unless balanced nutrition is also added to the food. Changing lifestyle due to present day hectic work schedule has necessitated the importance of nutrition and nutritious food.
In this backdrop, Bangladesh first âNutrition Summitâ 2025 is going to be held in Dhaka on 31 January to 01 February 2025. This conference will create a platform to understand various aspects of Food and Nutrition and the related topics in a better way. Along with Senior scientist, researcher, academic nutritionist, clinical dietician, food industrialist, policy maker; general people will also participate in this summit.
Interaction with food and nutrition industries, academician, policy makers and clinical dieticians will clarify lot of issues associated with the food & nutrition industries. This summit will also provide a good platform to understand the global scenario. Through a series of keynote address, common discussions, hands on training and various awareness display the summit will deliberate on various issues and challenges in food & nutrition industries, the diversity in the nutrition field, innovation, new technologies and global trend.
I like to request the participants to make the best use of the platform by sharing knowledge and information. Key management personnel and decision makers will enrich the conference with their vast expertise and crucial insights.
